BATCHELOR COMMUNITY LIBRARY
Your Community Library Officers in Batchelor are Prue King, Nanette Gillies, and Rex Wright. These friendly officers will greet you on Friday evenings from 3:00pm to 5:30pm and on Sunday afternoons from 1:00pm to 4:30pm. Residents and visitors are welcome to come and spend time in the Library during these hours. A quiet reading corner is available for readers to take advantage of the airconditioning and sit in the cool. Internet access is available during Community Library hours and a great collection of videos, DVDs, magazines, newspapers and fiction and non-fiction books, including a range of Indigenous books. Children are welcome and a monthly competition is held to foster their talents, plus a range of junior books and games are available. We now also have a great D-space for the kids which has xbox, ipads and many other 'cool' things.
The Adelaide River Community library is located at the Adelaide River Area School.
