Recognising the people who make our community great!

Every community has people who go above and beyond to make a difference. Whether they volunteer their time, support local initiatives, help their neighbours or contribute to making our community a better place, their efforts deserve to be recognised.

Coomalie Community Government Council is calling on residents to nominate outstanding individuals who have made a positive contribution to the Coomalie community for the Australia Day Citizen of the Year Awards.

These awards are an opportunity to celebrate the dedication, generosity and community spirit of the people who help make Adelaide River, Batchelor and our surrounding communities such special places to live.

Who can be nominated?

Do you know someone who:

• Volunteers their time to support local groups, clubs or community organisations?
• Goes above and beyond to help others?
• Makes a positive difference to the lives of people in our community?
• Demonstrates outstanding leadership, commitment or community spirit?
• Has made a significant contribution to the Coomalie community?

If someone comes to mind, we encourage you to put their name forward!

Take a moment to recognise someone who makes a difference. They may not do it for the recognition, but that doesn't mean their contribution should go unnoticed.
