On Sunday 1st March 2026, join Coomalie Council staff and volunteers in cleaning up Adelaide River and Batchelor townships.

This Clean Up Australia Day, Council will be supporting the work started by Ian Kiernan AO, by holding clean-up activities in our 2 major towns.

Wear some old clothes and sturdy closed in footwear. Council will provide bags, gloves and other equipment for helpers!

Details of the 2 clean up venues are:

Adelaide River

Where: Adelaide River Oval, Swannell Street, next to the Access Shed

Time: 8:00am

Batchelor

Where: Batchelor Oval under the trees

Time: 8:00am

A sausage sizzle will follow both activities!
