Council invites you to come down to FREE dog registration and education day.

Registration

Identifies your dog as your property and gives council important information about your dog’s breed, size, and home address.

To insure if they ever get lost, that they can be reunited with their owner.

Education packs

Come and grab a free education pack, filled with useful information and tips to help you become a responsible dog owner.

Council’s new Ranger looks forward to meeting and helping the community be responsible pet owners.

Batchelor - 10th Sept 2024, Bruce Jones Centre, 10am - 2pm
Adelaide River - 11th Sept 2024, Access Shed, 10am - 2pm

The 2026-27 Dog Registrations are now due for the period 1st September 2026 - 31 August 2027. For this financial year Council are offering a 50% discount* for desexed dogs upon presentation of the desexing certificate. As usual, a 50% discount* can also apply for concession card holders, this must also be presented at time of payment. * Note only 1 discount can be applied per animal You can pay your registration in person, over the phone or from Council's website here ! When making payment via the website please quote the 'Animal No' from your notice as the reference.
