Council will be undertaking a clean-up of hard rubbish prior to the coming cyclone season.

Clean-up will occur for the following dates:

• Batchelor - Monday 20th to Friday 24th October
• Adelaide River - Monday 27th to Friday 31st October
• Lake Bennett - Monday 3rd to Friday 7th November

Rubbish must be out the weekend before collection dates.



Items accepted:

• White goods
• Furniture
• Small items which may become a projectile
• Items able to be picked up by a single person

Items not accepted:

• Asbestos
• Tyres & Car batteries
• Paint / aerosol cans
• Chemicals
• Medical waste
• Car bodies
