Council is excited to announce the 2026 Vet Clinic dates for Batchelor and Adelaide River!

All dogs must be registered with Council to access this program.

Batchelor – Rum Jungle Bowls Club
6 May 2026

Adelaide River – Access Shed, Swannel Street
7 May 2026

Services for dogs and cats include:
✔ Desexing
✔ Vaccinations
✔ Health checks
✔ Parasite control

Feral Cat Trapping Program
Running during vet clinic week:

4–7 May 2026

⚠ Please keep domestic cats indoors during these dates to avoid accidental trapping.⚠

The 2026-27 Dog Registrations are now due for the period 1st September 2026 - 31 August 2027. For this financial year Council are offering a 50% discount* for desexed dogs upon presentation of the desexing certificate. As usual, a 50% discount* can also apply for concession card holders, this must also be presented at time of payment. * Note only 1 discount can be applied per animal You can pay your registration in person, over the phone or from Council's website here ! When making payment via the website please quote the 'Animal No' from your notice as the reference.
