RISK MANAGEMENT AND AUDIT COMMITTEE

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Coomalie Community Government Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from a suitably qualified person to become an Independent Member of Council’s Risk Management and Audit Committee.

In accordance with the Local Government Act 2019, the primary functions of a Risk Management and Audit Committee is to monitor and review the integrity of the Council’s financial management and its internal controls.

Applicants are invited to review the Terms of Reference of the Council’s Risk Management and Audit Committee on Council’s website coomalie.nt.gov.au/councilpublications (Policies - Governance & Administration - 1.31 RMAC Terms of Reference).

Council’s Risk Management and Audit Committee meets four times per year. Expressions of Interest are to include a resume and summary of relevant

qualifications and experience to monitor and review Council’s financial management and internal controls.

Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 6pm on Sunday 10 November 2024 to mail@coomalie.nt.gov.au.
